Biz Update..

Greetings everyone!

Hope all of you enjoyed the holidays. At Gear 6 Performance, we've spent the better part of our holidays searching for a new location and moving our biz shop into temporary storage. After 5 yrs in the same location on Scenery Ln in Meridian, we decided not to renew our lease.. so our active search began. We officially have a new location as of January 12th. WhoooHooo!

This weekend we are moving into our new space and hope you'll get a chance to stop by and visit once we're settled in.. should be by the end of next week, Jan 19th-20th, 2012. Here's our new address, please update your contact info. BTW, our main ofc phone number will remain the same unless we are required to change it, we'll update everyone about that if necessary. The 800 toll number stays the same.

2010 Northwest Motorfest..

Idaho Cobra Club member cars lined up..Check out the pics from this year's Motorfest.. club members who participated in the extreme heat conditions deserve a trophy!  Here's hoping next year will be cooler and we'll have twice as many members participating. Special thanks to Bill & Judy who drove up from Eastern Idaho to participate.. and to Stan who entered three cars, including two gorgeous classics..  WhoooHooo!

Terrific weather (finally) for the first event of the season..

Special thanks to our hosts, the Sheehans, who provided the games, the prizes, the food, and the opportunity to drive our cars. We all enjoyed the drive even with all those cyclists who were everywhere along the route.. some of our other car members (Mustang, Camaro, Corvette, Pantera) were MIA this trip. Apparently too many snakes to contend with? ((LOL!))

Snake River Fun Run & BBQ Postponed Again..

Another Weather Delay.. due to uncertain weather conditions (again), tomorrow's Snake River Fun Run & BBQ has been postponed until Sat, June 12th, 2010 (same time & place).. third time's the charm, right?  

The Sheehans made the decision this morning even though there's a small chance it could be nice tomorrow, its just too iffy to plan for a BBQ.

* Please help us out..

by sending or calling in your RSVP for next Saturday's event ASAP or no later than Thursday, June 10th, 2010, even if the weather looks unpredictable.. that way the Sheehans can have some idea of how many to plan for the BBQ. Thanks!

REMINDER: Sat, June 5th - Snake River Fun Run & BBQ

Last year's event 2009.. Fun!

WHEN:  Saturday June 5th, 2010 - 9:15 am
WHERE:  Meet at the Albertons Parking Lot - Greenhurst Rd. & 12th Ave Rd. in Nampa  (Google Map Link)

We will depart no later that 9:45 am and make a 50 mile loop like last year. (might do it the reverse from last year, or not -- haven't decided yet) We will then end with a BBQ at the Sheehans.  There will be maps provided at the start along with a quiz that will require your copilot/navigator to pay attention to things along the route. There will be prizes for the top scores.

Lets start the summer cruising season of with a bang, or should I say a rumble.

Cars & Coffee - Sat, May 1st, 2010

New Local Event..

A weekly gathering of auto enthusiasts from 9:00am - 12:00pm each Saturday, weather permitting. There will be something for everyone to enjoy; classics, exotics, concepts, hotrods, motorcycles and motor-sport. And it's all free, minus the coffee of course.

So I think a good place to meet would be the moxie on Bogus basin road.The big store is closed and if you want to go for a drive Bogus is right there.9 a.m. on good weather Saturdays.. How does that sound to everyone?

P.S. if weather permits, we'll probably be there tomorrow morning but we have a prior (must attend) event later in the day, so a drive would be difficult for us this time.  We'll see?  -Gear6
