]]>Special thanks to our hosts, the Sheehans, who provided the games, the prizes, the food, and the opportunity to drive our cars. We all enjoyed the drive even with all those cyclists who were everywhere along the route.. some of our other car members (Mustang, Camaro, Corvette, Pantera) were MIA this trip. Apparently too many snakes to contend with? ((LOL!))

Another Weather Delay.. due to uncertain weather conditions (again), tomorrow's Snake River Fun Run & BBQ has been postponed until Sat, June 12th, 2010 (same time & place).. third time's the charm, right? 
The Sheehans made the decision this morning even though there's a small chance it could be nice tomorrow, its just too iffy to plan for a BBQ.
by sending or calling in your RSVP for next Saturday's event ASAP or no later than Thursday, June 10th, 2010, even if the weather looks unpredictable.. that way the Sheehans can have some idea of how many to plan for the BBQ. Thanks!

We will depart no later that 9:45 am and make a 50 mile loop like last year. (might do it the reverse from last year, or not -- haven't decided yet) We will then end with a BBQ at the Sheehans. There will be maps provided at the start along with a quiz that will require your copilot/navigator to pay attention to things along the route. There will be prizes for the top scores.
Lets start the summer cruising season of with a bang, or should I say a rumble.

Turns out the uncertainty about Saturday's ever changing weather forecast made it necessary to postpone this event until next week. Think sun!

1964 Shelby Cobra CSX2557Last month RM Auctions offered up the 427 Cobra prototype at its annual auction in Phoenix, and although it failed to meet reserve price, the final bid of nearly $1.5 million signified the importance of the car. Fortunately for car collectors who still want to add a notable Shelby to their garage will have the chance at RM's auction next month.
