Snake N' Eggs Brunch at Trudy's | Idaho City | Oct 11, 2009

 

 

 

Yes, it may have been cold.. but those who braved it out for the Club's last long-distance event of the season were greeted with beautiful sunny Idaho city weather (with snow in those mountains), including a visit with Trudy herself.

Our Camaro member (Bob) also treated Ms. Trudy to a spin in his '67 Camaro.. we understand they only did the speed limit (uh huh) but we'll never tell.  LOL!

Thanks everybody for a wonderful time!

And yes, the image below includes members with otherkewlcars, like a Pantera & a Mustang.. among others. Perfect driving weather.. in the mid- 70's. One of our members experienced a bit of an untimely mechanical problem and we hope it won't keep him from upcoming events!

Any day we get to drive.. is a great day. Thank you Sheehan's!

Here's a half-day event where Club members can drive their cars, win prizes *and* meet afterwards for a fun BBQ.. courtesy of Club members Dick & Jo Sheehan 'aka' the Red Baron. Thanks guys for offering this fun run!

FYI.. depending on where you're coming from & for those of you.. who'd like
to travel together as a group to Nampa, Saturday morning..

We will depart no later than 9:45 am and head south on HW 45 crossing the Snake River at Walters Ferry. Then HW 78 to Marsing and back across the Snake onto Marsing Rd. to Lake Shore Dr. and back to HW 45/12th Ave, finishing with a BBQ at the Sheehans home.

This route is approximately 50 miles & takes about one hour. There will be maps provided at the start along with a quiz that will require your co-pilot/navigator to pay attention to things along the route. There will be prizes for the top scores. Come enjoy a morning of fun with other Cobra enthusiasts followed by burgers & dogs!
